what absolutely yummy greens. Green wasn't much of a color for me once upon a time, but now I love it. these are so green you feel as though you could stick your fingers into the color.

Ok.. I CAN'T type the letters because I can't READ the #$%$% letters..

It's the churchyard of St Johns, Pitchcombe and overlooks the Painswick Valley. The A46 just beyond here has been closed since the flood - the road washed away and needed complete rebuilding - so I haven't driven this route since last July.

I celebrated the reopening of the easiest route to Gloucester by leaping out of the car and taking some photographs. I loved the curved shadows and the peace of this hillside spot, sheltered from the world by these huge yew trees.

I'm glad you enjoyed it too.
