And this is the roof of the sunlit porch where the chairs of the previous photo sit. When there have been enough gin and tonics and cheese biscuits (I am using biscuits in the British sense by the way - notice the word crackers did not appear here til now) your head can fall back against the generous headrest and you can admire the roof detail. Sigh... I have SUCH a vivid imagination.
Think it is the local railway station roof Jordi. Don't think they dish up the G & T's there.... you might get some stale biscuits out of the vending machine, if your'e lucky BesTwishes Maggie
I'm sorry to say that Maggie's spot on, Jordi - I was waiting for Paulene to arrive at our local station. I think I prefer your imagined scenario, however - and Paulene will have a G&T too, I'm sure!
Sometimes, an Elegant Sufficiency just isn't enough. In 2008 I responded to a challenge to post a photo a day, in the company of one or two online friends. The habit of taking a daily photograph is far too good to lose however and so the project continues. Words and thoughts will stay on the original blog - here, I hope the pictures will speak for themselves.
I've formulated my own set of "rules" for myself to follow:
Though some entries will be post-dated, the actual photo will be taken on the right day.
I'll post the photo as it was taken and not manipulate it in any way.
I knit, I sew, I embroider, I paint and draw and occasionally keep a journal. I do funny things with paper, paint and glue, I make books and other stuff. Not much of this is of any use (with the possible exception of the socks I knit) but I find fun in everything I do. I love colour, texture, pattern and want to do it all perfectly - preferably in the next five minutes.
When I'm not making stuff myself, I'm teaching someone else how to do it (or teaching someone else to teach someone else to do it)
